Manny Cardozo

Manny brings more than 25 years of ARM industry experience to Caine & Weiner. His development brought him from a producer in small and midsize markets to executive leadership positions at major U.S. ARM and Credit Insurance companies. His team building ability coupled with a drive toward excellence resulted in many accolades over his career. He credits his success to the people around him and an ability to listen to customers.

In his role as Vice President of Customer Experience, Manny will contribute an unrelenting focus on each customer’s needs and how Caine & Weiner can meet and exceed customer expectations.

Manny’s passion for team building extends outside of the work arena to youth sports; he has coached and officiated at high levels of youth soccer in Connecticut, Louisiana, Georgia and Florida.

Maricor Bolado

Maricor Bolado

Maricor joined Caine & Weiner nearly 20 years ago in our Administration department. She received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. She is always up for a challenge and is well-respected by her peers. Maricor primarily supports the President/Chief Executive Officer and the Chief of Staff, handling scheduling and travel as well as various other administrative tasks.

    Shamaria Smallis

    Shamaria Smallis is a strategic and innovative HR Executive with more than 25 years progressive experience in the entertainment, banking/financial, aerospace, and manufacturing industries. She is regarded as a trusted adviser to the executive and leadership teams.  She has successfully built and led Human Resources and Payroll teams focusing on recruiting and retention of key talent that drives business return in alignment with business strategy. Known as a results-oriented thinker, Shamaria has excellent judgment, communication and influencing skills in conjunction with a proven track record of discovering creative solutions that meet everchanging unique business needs and challenges.

    John Myers, CRCP

    John has over 20 years of management experience in the credit and collections industry with his specialties including team development and nurturing, account flow management and business process improvement.

    His experience with nearly all aspects of distressed consumer and commercial debt collections, including a wide variety of debt types, make him a valuable member of the Caine & Weiner Operations team.

    Ron Castro

    Ron, who has been with Caine & Weiner for 16 years, is well-regarded by his team members and essential to the continued success of the enterprise.

    As the head of Caine & Weiner’s Information Technology Department, Ron and his team are responsible for all aspects of managing and processing information. He has the direct responsibility of management of the enterprise’s computer base for all five national collection centers.

    Ron acquires and manages the hardware and software that facilitates decision support systems, project management applications and all computerized processes that enable each department to run efficiently.

    With his comprehensive knowledge of Management Information Services, keen problem-solving skills, and an intuitive approach to problem-solving, Ron is well-suited for his position and a valuable member of the Caine & Weiner team.

    Chris Melisko

    Chris grew up in upstate New York, and is now the Director in Human Resources. He is well-suited for his position holding  many years of experience including executive HR positions with leading national companies.

    His academic accomplishments include BA in Jewish studies from Moody Bible Institute, BS in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, and a Masters in Education and Training as well as holding a certificate in Human Resource Management.

     

    Jennie Hirtzel

    Jennie Hirtzel has served six years as Caine & Weiner’s Marketing Manager. Jennie manages all of the company’s strategic marketing initiatives to support sales growth and the corporate marketing plan.

    Jennie has 20+ years of experience with writing, editing, graphic design and marketing management, including for publications, in the seniorcare industry and for professional societies.

    Steven Friedland

    Steven graduated from UCLA in 1990 with a B.A. in English and in 1993 obtained his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law. He was admitted to both the California Bar and the United States District Court in 1994. Before coming to Caine & Weiner in 2011, he had his own private practice.

    He has worked in the collections field for nearly 30 years, 24 years as an attorney, three years as a clerk during law school, and two years in the legal department of a collection agency. He is familiar with all steps of the collection process, both pre-judgment and post-judgment, and has been lead counsel on more than 100 court trials. He litigates both commercial and consumer matters including issues regarding the FDCPA, California State Rosenthal Act, FCRA and TCPA

    Steve Simon, CCCO

    Steve earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UCLA. He began his career at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in their top rated management training program, working his way to Branch Rental Manager and eventually into the Regional Loss Control Manager position for the Greater Los Angeles area. During that time, Steve built an expertise in branch operations, marketing, loss control, and risk management in addition to gaining extensive knowledge of collection and legal processes. Steve left Enterprise to become the Vice-President of Operations for a Los Angeles-based commercial collection agency, generating a 350% increase in revenue over a four-year period.

    Steve then began his career with Caine & Weiner in 2002 at the corporate office, overseeing the sales operation before taking over operational responsibility for the collection team. As Vice President of Operations Services for several years, Steve had direct oversight of the Commercial and BPO/Outsourcing divisions. In his current role as Vice President of Compliance and Quality Assurance, Steve is responsible for oversight of key internal processes to help ensure that Caine & Weiner is exceeding all client expectations both for quality of service and performance results. In 2016, Steve received his Credit and Collections Compliance Officer (CCCO) designation through ACA International – earned through a combination of in-person training classes and subject-specific examinations covering a wide range of collection industry compliance and security practices.

    Frank Dispensa

    Frank has been active in the credit information/commercial debt collection industry for the past 30+ years, holding positions in customer service & education, sales, collections, and general management.

    In his role as Vice President – Client Operations, makes him responsible for management of all client relation activities as well as association and client satisfaction strategies. Working closely with the Collection Management is one of his top priorities to ensure clients are receiving the highest level of overall service.

    He earned a Certified Commercial Collector designation by the International Association of Commercial Collectors, Inc. and has been a member of the Commercial Law League of America.

    Frank holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Business Administration and Psychology and a Master’s Degree of Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Human Resource Management.
