Honoring all who served on Veterans Day
On the “11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month” in 1918, the treaty to end World War I was signed, and this day became known as Armistice Day. The United States renamed this day Veterans Day to “honor all who served” in all conflicts, both living and dead.
